Bitcoin Wednesday — #BTC1W — holds its second anniversary party on 1 July 2015.
Bitcoin Wednesday will celebrate its 2nd year of consecutive digital currency events held — without missing a beat — on the first Wednesday of every month since July 2013.
The biggest, best and longest-running regular conference on the digital currency revolution in the Netherlands takes place on the first Wednesday of every month. July 1st will be Bitcoin Wednesday 25, our 25th monthly edition, marking almost to the day exactly 2 years ago that we gathered for the first Wednesday night of Bitcoin celebration.
Join us in celebrating this milestone. This event, like most Bitcoin Wednesday conferences, is free.
What once started as a community-driven meetup at a bar on the Leidseplein for about two dozen of The Netherlands’ earliest Bitcoin pioneers is now a free monthly conference for both beginners and experts, and is growing into one of the largest events of its in kind in Europe.
To celebrate the 2nd anniversary of Bitcoin Wednesday, we’re planning to host a special night of presentations and networking. We want as many Bitcoiners as possible to have the chance to spend time with their colleagues and friends.
New Location
The warmup to the conference begins at 1700 with a reception and benefit dinner at our beautiful new location, VondelCS.
National broadcaster AVROTROS has recently converted this beautiful landmark into a modern broadcast facility and performance center.
There will be a cash bar open in our conference hall for pre-conference drinks and networking from 17:00 onward.
Between 1700 and 1900 you are invited to join us for a special benefit dinner in our exclusive space overlooking the Vondelpark. There are limited places at the table.

As usual, the presentations begin at 1900 sharp. We’re aiming to have drinks and possibly also food available in the conference room throughout the night.

Bitcoin Wednesday is an accessible event for anyone who has interest in digital currencies or the related technologies, a great chance to meet other like-minded professionals, and exchange ideas in an informal atmosphere.
