Special Agenda: 1 April 2015

On the first of April 2015, for the 22nd consecutive month, Bitcoin Wednesday will hold its conference series on the digital currency revolution in The Netherlands.

This month’s program will have a slightly different format from our earlier events.

The following schedule and times are approximate and may be subject to change without notice:

1800 Pakhuis de Zwijger: Meet for drinks and networking in the cafe on the ground floor.

1845 Kleine zaal: Doors open to the public on the 5th floor. Short briefing and final sound check.

1900 Bitcoin Wednesday Presents Andreas M. Antonopoulos:

Mr. Antonopoulos will deliver a keynote via video conference on Bitcoin-related subjects and will tell us about the launch of his newest startup.

1930 Mr. Antonopoulos Answers Official Questions Asked by the Dutch Government

In cooperation with interested parties in the Dutch government, The Dutch Bitcoin Foundation has invited Mr. Antonopoulos to answer a series of official questions raised by the authorities.

The purpose of this first conversation with Mr. Antonopoulos is

1) To kickstart what we hope will be an ongoing open dialogue at all levels of Dutch society, and

2) To increase awareness and understanding of the digital currency revolution and its significance for Dutch society.

2030 Mr. Antonopoulos Answer Questions from the Media and the Public

Note that we have scheduled two full hours with Mr. Antonopoulos. The intention is to address as many of the critical issues at a high level as possible within the allotted time.

With the results of this conference — which will be videotaped, we intend to go into the required level of detail with Mr. Antonopoulos in one or more follow up sessions.
