Rik Esselink
Session Chair

Rik Esselink will serve as Session Chair for Bitcoin Wednesday on 4 October 2017. He was also Session Chair for Bitcoin Wednesday's CoinFest edition on 5 April, 2017, and the events held on 7 June 2017 and 6 September 2017. He has been an active member of the Amsterdam blockchain community for many years. He is the former Marketing Director at Philips, and is currently MD Europe for one of the world's fastest growing connected home startups, Ring.com.

Eyal Hertzog is co-founder, Chief Architect and Head of Product Development of Bancor. An experienced consumer Internet entrepreneur, Eyal has raised over $100m from leading venture capital firms, including Accel, Benchmark, Polaris, DAG Ventures and Highland Capital. Eyal founded Contact Networks, one of the first social networks, in 1999, and Metacafe in 2003, a pioneer in online video with over 50 million active users at its peak.

Dominic Williams is CTO of venture-backed crypto-technology incubator, String Labs, Inc. He has a similar role at the DFINITY Foundation, which raised $3.75 million in about 24 hours in mid-February 2017. The DFINITY blockchain aims to offer a decentralized cloud computing platform with infinite scalability that will be completely interoperable with Ethereum apps.

Rikiya Masuda is European Branch Director of bitFlyer, currently Japan's biggest Bitcoin exchange. Before coming to bitFlyer he worked for seven years for Japan's second largest bank, Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation.

Dimitri Chupryna is co-founder of Token-as-a-Service, a venture based on the Ethereum blockchain that is designed to allow investors to participate in the rise of Blockchain markets without the technical barriers and financial risks associated with trading cryptocurrencies.
