The 80th edition of Bitcoin Wednesday will be held in Amsterdam on 5 February, 2020.

Please RSVP as soon as possible if you want to attend.

The early bird tickets are now sold out.  Tickets are now on sale with Bitcoin only.

They will also be available at the door starting at 18:00.  Bitcoin or cash only at the door. No credit card, no PIN.

Anne Haubo Dyhrberg is a researcher at the University of Sydney Department of Finance. Her work is focused on studying the micro-structure of cryptocurrency markets, specifically their transaction costs and liquidity.

Christoph Jentzsch, Founder of Slockit

Christoph Jentzsch is CEO of Slockit, a platform for the decentralized sharing economy. An Ethereum pioneer, he was part of the Core development team starting in 2014 when he was responsible for securing the protocol. He also wrote the code for TheDAO, one the earliest decentralized autonomous organizations, which became a watershed in the history of the industry.

Alex Mashinsky is one of the inventors of VOIP and currently CEO of Celsius Network, an Ethereum-based cryptocurrency lending platform that pays interest on cryptocurrency deposits and allows its users to take out low-interest loans. Celsius raised $50 million in an ICO in May 2018.  As of 1 January 2020 it has done $4.25 billion in loan origination with $400 million in assets and more than 53,000 active wallets.

Tom Keunen will be one of the moderators of Bitcoin Wednesday on 5 February 2020. Originally from Belgium, but based in The Netherlands, Tom has worked globally for organizations such as Greenpeace, Oxfam Novim, Cordaid, Free Press Unlimited, the Center for Safety and Development and RNW Media.
