Benjamin Kampmann of MaidSafe

Benjamin Kampmann is a MaidSafe developer responsible for education and outreach.  On 7 December, 2017 he will give a presentation covering the following topics:

  • Where Are We Now
  • What Can Users Do – Alpha, E-mail, and Blog with Comments
  • What Can Developers Do – APIs, and Tutorials
  • Moving Forward – An Overview of the Current Development Focus and Plans for Developer’s Outreach

Ben is an open source software developer, educator and organizer. He cares about good design on both sides, the product and user experience on one side as well as the technical architecture and infrastructure on the other. Even more, he cares about people; he mentors and coaches, writes and facilitates the writing of learning materials, organizes community events and belongs to organizations such as Open Tech School, a nonprofit that offers free tech education, and RustFest, one of Europe’s first conferences dedicated to the Rust programming language.  At MaidSafe he is working on developer interfaces and is building the MaidSafe community.
