Merchant Adoption
At the 60th edition of Bitcoin Wednesday on 6 June, 2018, we’ll meet decentralization advocate Andrew Wagner for the first time. His presentation at Bitcoin Wednesday will be about the nature of cryptocurrency adoption, what motivates merchants to accept it, and what we can do to spread it.
Andrew began promoting Bitcoin in the days when it was still only worth a couple of dollars. Today he is the founder of the international decentralized event, CoinFest, which is held in early April of each year, and which Bitcoin Wednesday is a prominent participant.
Andrew is also director of the Bitcoin Co-op and Community Manager at NewsBTC. He is also the founder of a few Bitcoin gaming websites as well as an adviser to startups in the industry.
