Andrei Martchouk is CEO of Yacuna, a London- and Zurich-based Blockchain solutions provider and international trading platform for digital currencies. His keynote for Bitcoin Wednesday #24 on 3 June 2015 is about the future of Fintech and why the blockchain isn’t only about finance.
Prior to founding Yacuna, Mr. Martchouk was Chief System Architect at ClickandBuy, one of the first German FinTech companies, where he handled the firm’s security and cryptography. He also managed ClickandBuy’s in-house development team and several distributed teams responsible for building and maintaining mission critical financial systems.
During his previous 14 years in the payment industry, he focused on online payment processing for e-commerce, e-money wallets and payment card solutions. His additional experience includes positions as Head of Software Development for the business payment unit at Deutsche Telekom as well as several consulting positions.
The former graduate of Cologne University of Applied Sciences and Minsk State Linguistic University became a Blockchain enthusiast in 2011.
