Putting Embedded CyberSecurity to Work: The Rivetz Token

For Bitcoin Wednesday’s 50th edition on 2 August 2017, the CEO of Rivetz Steven Sprague will talk about his cybersecurity solution Rivetz to be used for blockchain transactions, multi-factor IOT authentication and messaging.  Rivetz will be launching its crowd sale on 10 August, 2017.

Rivetz provides a collection of services and tools that enable the trusted execution capability already built-in to millions of phones and PCs.  These tools allow developers to build applications that enhance the security of the relationship with the user and their device.  For example, Rivetz can verify that a device has embedded data encryption before it connects to a patient database to download records.

The Rivetz token will give proof in the blockchain of the cybersecurity controls that protect a user’s private keys.  This proof of controls will simplify compliance and dramatically reduce unauthorized access and theft of digital assets.   It will also provide the foundation for advanced provable cyber security controls that were part of a transaction, an instruction or authentication.  This ability allows for the safe storage of value on a device where tokens can be automatically spent only as long as the owner of the device has been verified.

Steven is one of the principle industry evangelists for the application of trusted computing technology.  He graduated from Cornell University with a degree in mechanical engineering and is an authority on trusted computing and trusted execution in the protection of private keys, encryption and secure instructions for blockchain transactions, identity, messaging, IOT and cryptocurrencies.  The Rivetz white paper has been published at rivetzintl.com.
