Raphaël Mazet of Alice.si

Raphael Mazet, an expert on the use of Blockchain tech for social impact, joined us during Bitcoin Wednesday on 3 May 2017, to discuss his Ethereum-based application, Alice. As he explained, the purpose of his solution is to restore public trust in charities by allowing users to track the actual social impact of their donation. To achieve this goal Alice deploys Ethereum smart contracts.  The decentralized application has the concept of ‘no cure, no pay’, which does not remunerate the charity until an agreed upon goal is achieved.
