Video: Zerocoin Protocol

Tadhg Riordan, Developer at Zcoin

Zcoin developer Tadhg Riordan presented the Zerocoin protocol during Bitcoin Wednesday on 2 May 2018.  In his talk, Tadhg introduced the protocol and how it enables privacy in financial transactions. He also discussed how he developed interest in building the protocol and what challenges he faced in the process.

Zerocoin Protocol is a set of rules that allow private, untraceable transactions on Zcoin network.  Tadhg explains:

“Zerocoin Protocol is an application layer privacy solution for Ethereum. An interesting thing about it is that it preserves fungibility, which is in accordance with the fact that any coin is as valuable as any other coin.”
