VondelCS is not only a special location for Amsterdam, but a historical national landmark that has been restored and converted into a showcase for culture, innovation and broadcasting.  Here’s a short video promoting the new venue:

With thanks to AVROTROS, bringing Bitcoin Wednesday to VondelCS will help introduce the digital currency revolution, its innovative technology and transformative potential to new audiences.  It gives Bitcoin Wednesday a bigger national podium to showcase what this new sector has to offer Dutch society including its risks and challenges as well as its innumerable advantages and rewards.

With additional help from the Dutch Bitcoin Foundation — stichting Bitcoin Nederland, this monthly event is able to gradually expand its monthly conference series to help move Amsterdam and The Netherlands closer to center stage as a global destination for this dynamic sector.

The event on 1 July 2015 is the 25th consecutive monthly edition of Bitcoin Wednesday, always held on the first Wednesday of the month.

To celebrate this 2 year anniversary edition Bitcoin Wednesday will begin with a networking reception and dinner from 1700 – 1900. There are limited space available for the dinner. Please mail hello@BitcoinWednesday.com to reserve your place.

The conference program begins officially at 1900 and continues until 2200 with, as usual, ample opportunity for networking at the bar.
