The European Parliament’s Resolution of 3 May 2016 on Virtual Currencies and Blockchain Technology
For Bitcoin Wednesday’s 3-year anniversary conference on 6 July, Nikolas Guggenberger will make a presentation and lead a discussion on the European Parliament’s Resolution of 3 May 2016 on virtual currencies and blockchain technology. As policy advisor to Jakob von Weizsäcker, the European Parliament’s rapporteur on virtual currencies and blockchain technology, Mr. Guggenberger is uniquely qualified to speak on this topic.
Mr. Guggenberger is a lawyer by training. He has a JD and a PhD from Freiburg University (Germany) and an LL.M. from Stanford University (USA). Prior to joining the European Parliament Nikolas was a researcher focusing on Internet and Media Law.
