During Bitcoin Wednesday on 2 May 2018, the Technical Architect of Swirlds, Paul Madsen, introduced the upcoming Hedera Hashgraph network. Swirlds claims that Hedera will be one of the fastest decentralized DAG-based networks in the world with a capacity of more than 100,000 transactions per second.
In this presentation, Paul explained what Hedera Hashgraph focuses on and how it is different from other Blockchain- and DAG-based solutions on the market.
Notably, the project raised $18 million in a private pre-sale held in January 2018, during which it received funding from Digital Currency Group, one of the largest venture capital companies that focuses on the digital currency market.
